Bread Crumbs...

The trip of a lifetime is quickly, all too quickly if you ask me, coming to an end. Meg and I are visiting with Beana and Gooch in Minnesota and then it's back to Boston.

10 weeks have just flown by like the scenery when viewed from a roller coaster.

Whoosh.

The last update was posted by Meg about our visit to the Olympic peninsula. It was beautiful. There are more pictures and stories to share about our stay there, the area and our trip to Vancouver.

Yes, THE trip to Vancouver where we were able to ogle some hunky men and stare in disbelief at the fantastic freaks that surrounded us. Not all of the people there were freaky, but there were plenty to provide people watching enjoyment for hours on end.

Then we have to talk about reconnecting with our cousin Sid and his fantastic and funny sons during a camping trip at Glacier National Park.

Then we have to tell you why we think the entire state of Montana was trying to kill us.

Then we have to tell you all about our trip to Salt Lake where we attended an impromptu family reunion that my uncle wore a dress to - really it was a kilt, but you get the picture.

THEN we have to tell you about seeing Mount Rushmore (which was smaller than I had expected, not that it's small mind you, just smaller than I had thought it would be.

And then we have to tell you about playing frogger on the highway. We weren't playing the part of the frog, thank goodness. We were cast as the car. Ewww, squish.

Now we're getting ready to go to the lake and enjoy the surprisingly warm weather that Minnesota is kind enough to give us this late in the summer, or this early in the fall, it all depends on how you look at it.

So, we've been lacking in the blogging from the road department. Mainly because we've been having so much fun and just taking the time to enjoy ourselves.

When we get back home, as we're packing up the house for our final trip back to Phoenix, we'll be able to get more of the stories posted with pictures.

That should take us through the end of the year and then we'll have baby photos and such to share...

Now, it's time to take baby Lake to the lake with her Momma and Papa.

It's a good thing that Gooch is driving because I have a feeling that Lake and I will be napping in the car.

I know, it's a rough life.
